Cruising London Fully Charged On An E-Bike

"Red Dwarf" star Robert Llewellyn is a one-man evangelist for electric vehicle technology large and small. In this episode of his "Fully Charged" video series, he saddles up on different electric-assist bicycles sold by London-based retailer, also named Fully Charged.

It's almost axiomatic: it only takes one ride to fall in love with an electric bike. "Fully Charged" host Robert Llewellyn discovers this on this episode of his Internet video series, as he cruises the streets of central London, England. With eBikes provided by similarly-named retailer, Fully Charged, Llewellyn tests different models from the Bosch-powered Moustache Lundi to the GoCycle.

Renting our Prodecotech Stride 300s this past summer here in Omaha, I have seen this same childlike gleeful joy multiple times. Quiet and smooth, when the electric motor engages it comes almost as a surprise, as you'll see from Llewellyn's reaction. It is so classic that I wanted to share it with you.

This Fall and Winter, our first rental Qiosk will be deployed to the St. Pete-Tampa Bay area, giving 'snowbirds' fleeing the ice and cold to the north the opportunity to "Ride the Sun"tm on solar-charged electric-assist bicycles. Follow us on our Twitter account for future announcements on our new location.
